Nathaniel Bolton designed and built this set for Killing My Lobster Conquers The Universe.  The sketch comedy was themed on Science Fiction and the set was designed around the old Twilight Zone opening images, particularly the floating door.  To make the set more surreal all the angles were constructed off kilter.  The set was skinned in black fabric that had lights behind it that could be turned on and off to create a star field.  The whole set needed to be collapsed against the upstage wall during the week and so the whole set was built to accommodate this need.
